About Us
Who are we?
RIBA Hampshire is the organisation covering members of the RIBA
in Hampshire, of which there are 600 plus members. The RIBA Hampshire
Branch is represented by their committee who provide a local link
between the members and the RIBA South Region and national RIBA
organisation.
What do we do?
The committee carries out an active role, organising building visits,
lectures and conferences, in conjunction with other professions
and
societies. The committee comments on RIBA issues and other policy
documents,
such as design guidance. The branch also awards student prizes to
students
of Portsmouth School of Architecture.
When do the committee meet?
The branch committee meets 6-8 times per year. Committee members
are elected every year at the annual general meeting. Anyone can
attend these meetings.
